More fundraising for The Christie!

On Saturday 1st Feb, we'll be doing our thing at The Grey Horse in Reddish again to raise money for The Christie.

It's free to get in but there will be loads going on to get you to part with your cash for a great cause. The best part is that whatever we make on the night, Joseph Holt's brewery will treble it!

Why not come down and enjoy a great night of live music and help us make a difference for an amazing charity!

EP Launch - Ruby Lounge, Manchester

Our lead singer, Alice Gasson, is releasing her latest solo EP at The Ruby Lounge in Manchester on 9th December. Alice continues to completely blow us away with her amazing talent and musicianship and we can't wait to see her perform at this event. THE BIG CHRISTIE'S FUNDRAISER - THANKYOU!

A huge thanks to everyone who came along to our charity gig for Christie's - what a great crowd! We've raised a fortune, the event was sold out and we raised £350 on the raffle alone - amazing!

Hope to see you all again at another gig - thanks for all your support and generosity.

We're really looking forward to Groustonbury on Sunday 25th August, it was AMAZING last year and there are loads of great bands on - tickets only £10!

Congratulations to our drummer Joe Luckin who has recently been awarded Royal Northern College of Music performance degree student of the year! Joe has been with The Soul Shakers since it started in 2006 and can be seen pictured receiving his award from Andy Scott (Head of Higher Education) and Edith Bowman - well done mate!

Christie's Fundraiser Update

The Soul Shakers will be augmented by an amazing live string section at Houldsworth Golf Club, Reddish on Saturday 26th October. All proceeds from this event are going to The Christie Hospital in Manchester. Tickets will be available very soon priced at just £10 (including food!)

Be sure to get your tickets early to what promises to be an amazing performance from this 15-piece band with guest vocalists and DJ.
